Step 1 :
Position the bench, and check that it does not interfere with any other furniture and that it folds, unfolds, opens and closes properly.
Step 2 :
Mark the holes to be made in the floor by passing a pencil through the holes for the wing nuts.
Step 3 :
With a screwdriver/drill and a 10mm drill bit, drill your floor, taking care not to touch the sheet metal below.
Step 4 :
Screw the inserts into the floorboard, reposition your bench and screw it to the floor.
