Renault Trafic 3 L2H1 "Minthy" by Green-Van: Exokit side furniture, pop-top roof and VASP approval
When a Parisian van rental company chooses our van furniture kits to equip their rental vehicle, it's a strong signal. Green-Van, specializing in fitted van rental in the Paris region, recently put "Minthy" up for sale, a Renault Trafic 3 L2H1 VASP-approved, equipped with our complete paneling pack and our left side cabinet. This vehicle served in their rental fleet before being offered for sale, with 38,000 km on the odometer and a complete conversion designed for comfort in all seasons.
Green-Van: fitted van rental in Paris
Green-Van is a fitted van rental company based in Vincennes, in the Paris region. Their model is based on a fleet of VASP-approved vans, equipped for fully autonomous departures, and regularly renewed to ensure recent and well-maintained vehicles. When a van has been driven enough in their rental fleet, Green-Van offers it for sale, allowing individuals to acquire a quality, pre-owned, and properly approved fitted vehicle.
"Minthy" is one of these vehicles. Registered in August 2022, it currently has approximately 38,000 km, a manual gearbox, and a 130 hp Grand Confort engine. Green-Van chose to equip this Trafic with our Exokit paneling pack and our left side cabinet, recognizing the quality of manufacturing and the precise fit of our products for this vehicle model.

A Renault Trafic 3 L2H1 equipped for driving comfort
Even before talking about the conversion, this Renault Trafic 3 L2H1 already offers a significant level of equipment for the road. Green-Van chose the Grand Confort version, which includes:
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for connectivity
- Cruise control for long journeys
- Automatic lights and electric mirrors
- Hill start assist and rear parking sensors
- Cabin heating and air conditioning
These features are not insignificant: they transform the Trafic into a pleasant vehicle to drive daily, including on long distances. An essential point when planning to travel regularly.
A pop-top roof for 4 berths
Green-Van installed a pop-top roof with full front opening and partial side opening, all equipped with integrated mosquito nets. This roof offers two additional berths of 130x190 cm, in addition to the rear bench seat, bringing the total capacity to 4 people to sleep comfortably.
A sliding window on the driver's side has also been installed, allowing for quick ventilation of the cabin and improving natural ventilation. These openings are essential for comfort in summer, especially when parked in direct sunlight.
Thermal and sound insulation: Armaflex, Biofibre Trio and vapor barrier
Green-Van treated the Trafic's insulation with a multi-layer protocol combining Armaflex, Biofibre Trio, and a vapor barrier. This approach ensures both effective thermal insulation for travel in winter and summer, and sound insulation that reduces road noise and the metallic resonances typical of vans.
This type of insulation is essential to transform a utility vehicle into a truly habitable living space. Without it, temperature variations are difficult to manage, and rolling noise quickly becomes tiring on long journeys.
The Exokit paneling pack for Renault Trafic 3
To furnish the interior of the vehicle, Green-Van chose our complete paneling pack for Renault Trafic 3, including the floor and the side panels, all machined to fit the L2H1 precisely.
These elements form the structural base of the conversion: the floor provides a flat and stable surface for placing furniture, and the side panels neatly close the sides of the vehicle by following the contours of the bodywork. Green-Van completed this paneling with a 5 mm veneer for the residual surfaces, ensuring a uniform finish along the entire length of the cabin.
The Exokit left side cabinet: integrated kitchen and technical features
At the heart of the conversion, Green-Van installed our Exokit left side cabinet, which concentrates most of the on-board living system. This cabinet includes:
- A sturdy and pleasant-to-the-touch birch worktop
- A Dometic 2-burner stove usable both indoors and outdoors
- A sink with mixer tap transformable into an outdoor shower
- A 42-liter refrigerator, sufficient for several days of autonomy
- Storage for kitchen utensils with 2 drawers and shelves closed by a sliding curtain
Green-Van also integrated 20-liter clean water jerrycans (with an additional 10-liter reserve, for a total of 30 liters) and a 15-liter grey water jerrycan for collection. An automatic water pump supplies the faucet and the outdoor shower, allowing you to rinse off after the beach or clean equipment without wasting water.

A modular Fiamma table for indoor and outdoor use
"Minthy" is equipped with a Fiamma table with a removable leg, which can be installed both inside the van and outside. This modularity is particularly appreciated: meals can be taken outside when the weather permits, and inside in case of rain or cold, without having to juggle several different tables.
Scopema bench seat road-approved and 2-person bed
For the main sleeping area, Green-Van installed a Scopema 2-person road-approved bench seat, equipped with Isofix points for safe child transport. This bench seat converts into a 2-person bed measuring 115x190 cm, with an added mattress topper to improve nocturnal comfort.

Under the bench seat, two storage drawers allow you to store clothes, sleeping bags, or equipment without cluttering the living space. Green-Van also provided:
- 3 large tall cabinets with sliding curtains for storing bulky items
- A storage pocket at the front and back of the van for small everyday items
- A large storage space at the rear in the trunk, ideal for sports equipment or suitcases
This multiplicity of storage is essential in a rental vehicle: users must be able to organize their belongings neatly without the van quickly becoming cluttered.
Victron electricity: total autonomy with solar panel
Green-Van equipped "Minthy" with a complete Victron electrical system, guaranteeing total electrical autonomy. The installation includes:
- A 150 Ah lithium battery, offering sufficient capacity for several days without recharging
- A 190 W solar panel on the roof, to recharge the battery during the day
- An Orion DC-DC to recharge the auxiliary battery while driving
- A P17 socket for connecting to mains power at a campsite or at home
- A 230 V inverter to power conventional electrical appliances
- USB sockets for charging phones, tablets, and other small devices
Lighting is provided by LED spotlights on the ceiling and a reading lamp in the pop-top roof, allowing comfortable reading in the evening without disturbing other occupants.
Stationary heating for winter travel
Green-Van installed a stationary heater, essential for traveling in autumn and winter. This type of heating runs on diesel and allows for maintaining a comfortable temperature inside the van without having to keep the engine running, which would be noisy, polluting, and fuel-consuming.
With this heating, "Minthy" becomes usable all year round, even on cold nights in the mountains or by the sea out of season.
A VASP-approved conversion, ready to go
"Minthy" is VASP-approved, which means it is legally recognized as a motorhome and can be insured and registered as such. This approval also guarantees that the conversion complies with current safety standards, particularly in terms of ventilation, gas and electrical installation, and furniture solidity.
This Renault Trafic 3 L2H1 equipped with our Exokit paneling pack and our left side cabinet clearly illustrates what a professional rental company expects from a conversion: robustness, modularity, comfort, and complete autonomy. Green-Van has built a vehicle designed to withstand intensive use in rental, and it is now offered for sale with 38,000 km on the odometer, in excellent condition and immediately operational.
