The Exokit Kit in Blue Laminated Finish

Composition and Materials

The installed furniture is an Exokit kit positioned on the left side, complemented by a convertible clic-clac bench. Made of laminated poplar plywood, the kit combines robustness and lightness, while ensuring long-term durability. The blue laminated finish adds a contemporary touch, which harmoniously contrasts with the light wood flooring.

Ease and Speed of Installation

Like all Exokit kits, this installation was carried out quickly and without difficulty. The perfect fit to the T6's dimensions ensures space saving and fluid movement on board, without compromising comfort.

Modularity and Customization

The chosen configuration allows for the integration of practical storage, a kitchen area, and comfortable sleeping thanks to the clic-clac bench. This modularity adapts to different daily situations in the van: cooking, relaxing, or sleeping, with ease.

One of the main requests for this project concerned energy. The owner wanted to be able to use an espresso machine even in the middle of nature. To meet this need, a complete electrical system was integrated:

A high-power 12V/220V inverter
A reliable and durable Ultimatron 100Ah lithium battery
An optimized charging system to power all equipment

This system offers total electrical autonomy, guaranteeing comfort and freedom during travels.

Practical and Efficient Water Management

To extend autonomy, a complete water/wastewater system has been integrated:

A compact sink with faucet
An outdoor shower
Fresh and gray water tanks
A 3L ELEGNA hot water tank, operating while driving thanks to a contactor relay

This simple and ingenious solution allows for hot water upon arrival, ideal after a day of driving or a sports activity.

Additional Equipment for More Comfort

Beyond the furniture and technical installations, several additional pieces of equipment enhance the conversion:

A compact refrigerator, practical for storing provisions
A Fiamma F45S awning, creating a friendly shaded area when parked
A swivel base for the double passenger bench, offering more conviviality during meals or relaxation moments

A Collaborative Project with Homad Van

This Volkswagen T6 was converted in collaboration with Homad Van, a workshop specializing in van conversions based in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d’Armor). The company handled the integration of the Exokit kit as well as the installation of all technical equipment.
The client had already prepared their vehicle with flooring, side panels, and a slatted ceiling equipped with LED lighting. From this base, Homad Van created a conversion perfectly balanced between comfort, autonomy, and design.
