Maximalle Exokit in a Peugeot Expert (K0) converted by HOMAD in Saint-Brieuc

At Exokit, we love to see our furniture adapt to the real needs of travelers. This week, we're presenting an installation of our Exokit Maximalle in a Peugeot Expert K0 (Stellantis), carried out by our partner workshop HOMAD, located just around the corner from us in Saint-Brieuc.

This project highlights the full potential of our 100% modular living unit, designed for compact vans and autonomous adventurers.

The Exokit Maximalle: compact outside, spacious inside

The Maximalle is the big sister of our Minimalle Exokit. Same concept, same quick installation system in the trunk, but with an extended sleeping area of 140 cm wide. Ideal for sleeping two with all the comfort of a fixed bed.

Under the foldable bed base, you'll find two large sliding drawers accessible from the rear of the vehicle:

➤ First drawer: kitchen and water

  • A retractable sink, integrated into the plywood countertop

  • A space for a portable stove

  • A compartment for a 22-liter water tank

  • Small storage spaces for sponges, dishcloths, bottles, etc.

➤ Second drawer: cold and energy

  • Space for a compression cooler

  • Support for a portable battery like the EcoFlow River 2 Pro

  • Optimized storage for cups, spices, food, dishes, and clothes

All this in a modular birch plywood unit, CNC cut in our Exokit workshop in Saint-Brieuc.

A layout by HOMAD, combining craftsmanship and technicality

While we supplied the entire Maximalle and interior linings, it was the HOMAD team, our local partner, who handled the complete insulation and installation of this van.

Here's what the HOMAD team implemented:

  • High-performance insulation with sprayed cork and sheep's wool

  • Installation of a light grey felt on the walls

  • Installation of our custom Exokit wood linings

  • Harmonious integration of the Maximalle and its retractable sleeping system

The result: a discreet, insulated, optimized Peugeot Expert, ready for long adventures or short getaways on Breton roads or further afield.

Port du Légué, Saint-Brieuc: a familiar setting

The photos for this project were taken right next to us, at the Port du Légué, in Saint-Brieuc. A symbolic place for us, as it is located a few meters from the Exokit workshop... and that of HOMAD.

Seeing our products come to life in this type of creation, in the heart of our region, is exactly why we design each piece of furniture.

Exokit Maximalle: freedom, autonomy, modularity

Designed for those who want to leave quickly, sleep comfortably, and remain autonomous, the Exokit Maximalle is a lightweight alternative to heavy conversions. It assembles and disassembles without tools, adapts to many vehicles (Peugeot Expert, Jumpy, Vito, Transporter, etc.), and can evolve according to needs.

➡️ It's the perfect tool for demanding travelers, mobile professionals, or well-planned bivouac enthusiasts.

Exokit & HOMAD: local, artisanal, and sustainable synergy

This project perfectly embodies our philosophy: offering flexible conversion kits, easy to install, made in France, and integrating into the personalized projects of partner workshops like HOMAD.

Whether you are an individual seeking freedom or a conversion professional, we support you with ready-to-use solutions, tested in real conditions.
