Maintenance

Raw plywood: must be protected (sanded, varnished, painted, oiled, or other)
Oiled plywood: can be cleaned with the soft side of a sponge. Oil can be reapplied to splinters. Does not require regular maintenance.
Laminated plywood: same as usual kitchen furniture (sponge)

A U-shaped bench seat designed for the Volkswagen Transporter T5 and T6

The Exokit front U-shaped bench seat for Volkswagen Transporter T5 and T6 L1H1 transforms the front left area of the vehicle into a truly modular living space.

Designed specifically for the Transporter's dimensions, it conforms to the bodywork reinforcements and optimizes the available width.

A friendly living space for everyday use

In day configuration, the bench seat forms a comfortable U-shaped lounge with a central table, ideal for meals or working inside.

The table consists of:

a lightweight top,
a leg tube,
two bases (floor and underside of top).

Conversion into a 120 × 180 cm bed

Switching to night mode is done via the comb system integrated into the rear and central blocks.

To convert the bench seat:

pull out the two combs,
remove the table leg,
place the top on the edges of the boxes.

The resulting surface is a flat bed measuring 120 cm wide by 180 cm long, corresponding to the so-called Classic version.

Three independent blocks

Block A (rear)

Equipped with a comb system, it offers accessible storage space by lifting the seat.

Block B (central)

Contributes to the sleeping surface and also provides under-seat storage.

Block C (front)

Storage locker with cupboard door on top, stabilizing the unit and optimizing storage.

Compatible with Exokit side modules

This bench seat is designed to work with:

T5/T6 right side unit,
rear left column,
complete Exokit layouts.

Secure and adaptable fastening

The bench seat can be fixed:

to the floor via 15 mm inserts and wing nuts,
or by appropriate screws depending on the chosen layout.

This system allows for stable installation while retaining the possibility of disassembly.

The entire unit is made of 15 mm birch plywood, guaranteeing robustness and durability.
