Ford Transit Custom L2H1 MK1 Side Panels – 5mm Poplar Plywood
Full lining kit for Ford Transit Custom L2H1 MK1: left + right walls and rear lining in 5 mm poplar plywood. Several parts (front top/bottom + rear). Options: raw/oiled finish, 1 or 2 side doors, tailgate or double door. Fastenings not included.
Our current lead times are 4 to 5 weeks for raw or oiled plywood furniture.
- Raw plywood: must be protected (sanded, varnished, painted, oiled, or other)
- Oiled plywood: can be cleaned with the soft side of a sponge. Oil can be reapplied to splinters. Does not require regular maintenance.
- Laminated plywood: same as usual kitchen furniture (sponge)

FTC L2H1 MK1 Linings: the first-generation long format
The Ford Transit Custom MK1 L2H1 offers a longer cargo area than the L1H1, used for van life conversions or extended work setups. This kit covers the entire side walls of the L2H1 MK1 cargo area—upper front, lower front, rear on both sides, and rear door area lining.
5 mm Poplar on MK1 long format
On the L2H1 format, the wall panels are longer. The 5 mm poplar maintains its lightness and flatness over these large surfaces—its dimensional stability is an advantage compared to particle board panels, which can be affected by humidity. The smooth surface of poplar accepts paint, felt, or adhesive covering.
Options
One or two sliding side doors, tailgate or double rear door. Raw or oiled finish.
Technical Questions
Is this kit compatible with the MK1.5 (2018 restyling)? Yes—the interior cargo dimensions of the L2H1 did not change in 2018.
Is this kit interchangeable with the L1H1 MK1? No—the L2H1 panels are longer, so they are two distinct products.
