Left Side Furniture Kit – Volkswagen T5/T6 L1H1 – Aplast Tank Version

A side unit designed for the Aplast tank in VW Transporter T5/T6 L1H1

This special version of the Exokit left side unit is designed to integrate an Aplast tank that perfectly matches the shape of the wheel arch of Volkswagen Transporter T5 and T6 L1H1. Two tank configurations are possible:

• 65 L fresh water + 27 L grey water
• 92 L bi-connected tank (2 internal compartments)

To allow for the tank installation, the standard unit has been redesigned: cut-outs at the wheel arch, removal of the rear storage compartment replaced by a dedicated tank cover, enlarged lower doors, and slightly reduced sliding curtains.

Technical adaptations for the Aplast tank

Precise cut-outs in the wheel arch area

The unit is machined with specific cut-outs allowing the tank to fit perfectly without compromising the structural integrity.

Raised rear tank cover

The original rear storage compartment becomes a protected tank cover, allowing access to connections, caps, and maintenance valves.

Enlarged lower doors

The doors of the rear columns have been enlarged to facilitate access to plumbing, valves, and technical areas related to the tank.

Adjusted sliding curtains

The AB and BC curtains are slightly reduced to account for the raise and technical volumes.
