Custom ceiling for Ford Transit Custom L1H1 MK2, cut from 5mm poplar plywood. 2 parts (front + rear) with engraved pre-cuts on the back — ceiling light, cables, bulkhead. Raw or oiled finish.
Our current lead times are 4 to 5 weeks for raw or oiled plywood furniture.
- Raw plywood: must be protected (sanded, varnished, painted, oiled, or other)
- Oiled plywood: can be cleaned with the soft side of a sponge. Oil can be reapplied to splinters. Does not require regular maintenance.
- Laminated plywood: same as usual kitchen furniture (sponge)

Transit Custom MK2 (NRN): New Generation, Same Precision
The Ford Transit Custom MK2 (from 2023, also known as NRN) introduces a slightly revised interior design compared to the MK1. This ceiling panel is specifically cut to the MK2 L1H1 template—not to be confused with the MK1, whose roof dimensions differ slightly.
Pre-cuts adapted for the MK2
The engraved markings on the back account for the specific features of the MK2: slightly repositioned reinforcement locations, pillar configuration. Same principle as the MK1 but on an updated template.
Material and lightness
5 mm poplar plywood—light (~3 kg/m²), flexible, easy to work with. Ideal for Transit Custom vans converted into camper vans or equipped intervention vehicles.
Installation
Insulate the roof first, then screw into the transverse ribs with 3.5×25 mm self-drilling screws. On the MK2, check the compatibility of the spot locations if you are integrating lighting—the pre-cuts indicate the recommended locations.
Technical Questions
Is this ceiling panel compatible with the Transit Custom MK1? No—the MK1 and MK2 templates are different. Check your vehicle's year before ordering.
My Transit Custom is from 2023: Is it an MK1 or MK2? The MK2 is produced from 2023 (model year 2024). If in doubt, check the approved type on your vehicle registration document.
