A universal gas box designed for VASP approval

The Exokit universal cubic gas box was developed to integrate a gas cylinder into a converted van or campervan, while respecting VASP regulatory requirements.

Its design allows for:

• the installation of a standard gas cylinder,
• the secure passage of the pigtail and regulator,
• the creation of a low-level vent to the outside.

Cubic version with front opening

This version has a cubic shape, making it easy to integrate into many layouts, both as a base unit and as a standalone box.

Access to the cylinder is via a front door, offering simple handling for installation, replacement or gas inspection.

Sealed door with knurled screw closure

The door is held by 4 knurled screws, which can be tightened by hand, without tools.

A peripheral seal is present all around the door to ensure a watertight separation between the gas compartment and the living area.

Designed for the passage of the pigtail and regulator

The box is designed to allow:

• the lateral passage of the gas pigtail,
• the installation of a regulator,
• a clean and accessible arrangement of connections.

The drilling zones are intentionally left free to adapt to the configuration of each installation.

Low-level vent compliant with VASP

The box allows for the creation of a Ø20 mm drilling downwards to create a low-level vent, essential for a VASP-compliant gas installation.

Three variants depending on the gas cylinder

The box is available in three size variants, adapted to cylinders:

• Campingaz R901,
• Campingaz R904,
• Campingaz R907.

Each variant retains the same design principle, only the size of the box changes to match the dimensions of the cylinder.

Robust and durable wooden structure

The box is made of wood, guaranteeing good rigidity and an aesthetic integration consistent with Exokit furniture.

It can be installed:

• as a standalone unit,
• or integrated into an Exokit kitchen module.
