Complete lining kit for Ford Transit Custom L1H1 MK1: left + right side panels and rear lining in 5mm poplar plywood. Multiple parts (front upper/lower + rear). Options: raw/oiled finish, 1 or 2 side doors, tailgate or double door. Fixings not included.
Our current lead times are 4 to 5 weeks for raw or oiled plywood furniture.
- Raw plywood: must be protected (sanded, varnished, painted, oiled, or other)
- Oiled plywood: can be cleaned with the soft side of a sponge. Oil can be reapplied to splinters. Does not require regular maintenance.
- Laminated plywood: same as usual kitchen furniture (sponge)

FTC L1H1 MK1 Linings: covering the first generation compact cargo
The Ford Transit Custom MK1 L1H1 (2012–2023) features a compact but ergonomic cargo area. Its walls have specific ribs and shapes that need to be incorporated into the templates. This kit is precisely cut to the interior profile of the MK1 L1H1: front upper, front lower, and rear panels on both sides, and lining for the rear door area.
5mm Poplar: the right choice for the Transit Custom
The FTC is often used as a delivery or service vehicle — uses where the lightness of the linings is a direct advantage for the payload. 5mm poplar remains light even for the entire kit, while offering a robust surface for attaching equipment and storage.
Options
One or two side doors, tailgate or double rear door. The raw finish is recommended if you plan to paint or cover the panels.
Technical Questions
Is this kit compatible with the MK1.5 (2018 facelift)? Yes — the interior dimensions of the cargo area did not change during the 2018 facelift.
How to fix the panels to the FTC MK1? The interior body ribs allow for fixing with wood screws. Plastic clips can supplement the fixing on smooth areas.
