Ford Transit Custom L1H1 MK2 Side Panels – 5mm Poplar Plywood
Full lining kit for Ford Transit Custom L1H1 MK2: left + right side panels and rear lining in 5mm poplar plywood. Several parts (front top/bottom + rear). Options: raw/oiled finish, 1 or 2 side doors, tailgate or double door. Fixings not included.
Our current lead times are 4 to 5 weeks for raw or oiled plywood furniture.
- Raw plywood: must be protected (sanded, varnished, painted, oiled, or other)
- Oiled plywood: can be cleaned with the soft side of a sponge. Oil can be reapplied to splinters. Does not require regular maintenance.
- Laminated plywood: same as usual kitchen furniture (sponge)

FTC L1H1 MK2 Linings: new generation, new templates
The Ford Transit Custom MK2 (from 2023) features interior body modifications compared to the MK1. This kit is cut to the MK2 L1H1 template — not interchangeable with the MK1. The panels cover the left and right side walls (front top, front bottom, rear) and the rear door area.
5mm Poplar on MK2
The MK2 benefits from interior improvements that facilitate the installation of the linings. 5mm poplar remains the same reference material: lightweight, stable, compatible with all finishes. The cuts are adapted to the new interior shapes of the MK2.
Configuration and finish
One or two side doors, tailgate or double rear doors. Raw or oiled finish depending on your conversion project.
Technical questions
Is this kit compatible with the MK1? No — the templates are different. Identify your generation before ordering (MK2 = 2024+ model year).
Does the MK2 offer more interior space than the MK1? Cargo dimensions are similar; the differences mainly concern interior shapes and mounting points.
