Volkswagen Transporter T5/T6 L2H1 Side Panels – 5mm Poplar Plywood
Complete lining kit for Volkswagen Transporter T5/T6 L2H1: left + right side panels and rear lining in 5 mm poplar plywood. Multiple parts (front upper/lower + rear). Options: raw/oiled finish, 1 or 2 side doors, tailgate or double door. Fasteners not included.

- Raw plywood: must be protected (sanded, varnished, painted, oiled, or other)
- Oiled plywood: can be cleaned with the soft side of a sponge. Oil can be reapplied to splinters. Does not require regular maintenance.
- Laminated plywood: same as usual kitchen furniture (sponge)

VW T5/T6 L2H1 Linings: Greater Length, More Surface Area
The L2H1 version of the Transporter T5/T6 has a longer cargo area than the L1H1 — typically used for campervan conversions or work vans. This kit covers the entire wall surface of this long version, with the exact templates for the L2H1: left and right side panels (front top, front bottom, rear) and rear door area.
Wood and L2H1 Conversion
On the L2H1, the length of the wall panels is significantly greater. The 5 mm poplar maintains its lightness and stability regardless of the panel length — a significant advantage for a vehicle often loaded with equipment. Its screw resistance allows furniture and elements to be fixed directly into the wall.
Configuration and Finish
Options identical to the L1H1 version: 1 or 2-sided sliding door, tailgate or double doors. Raw or oiled finish.
Technical Questions
Is this kit compatible with T5 L2H1 and T6 L2H1? Yes — the cargo dimensions are identical between the two generations in L2H1.
How do I differentiate a T5 L2H1 from an L1H1? The L2H1 has a longer wheelbase, visible externally. By measuring the cargo interior, the L2H1 offers approximately 30 cm of additional length.
