Custom ceiling for Ford Transit Custom L2H1 MK2 crew cab version, made of 5mm poplar plywood. Specific cabin cut (partition, uprights, cable passages). 2 parts. Raw or oiled finish.
Our current lead times are 4 to 5 weeks for raw or oiled plywood furniture.
- Raw plywood: must be protected (sanded, varnished, painted, oiled, or other)
- Oiled plywood: can be cleaned with the soft side of a sponge. Oil can be reapplied to splinters. Does not require regular maintenance.
- Laminated plywood: same as usual kitchen furniture (sponge)

MK2 crew cab: new generation template
The Ford Transit Custom MK2 (NRN, from 2023) in L2H1 crew cab has a cabin area with slightly different dimensions from the MK1. This ceiling is cut to the specific MK2 template, taking into account the bulkhead, pillars, and cable ducts of the new generation.
Material
5 mm poplar plywood, delivered in 2 parts. Lightweight and easy to work with for a cabin area with a smaller surface than the cargo area.
Installation and joint finishing
After insulating the cabin roof, screw the panels into the ribs with 3.5×25 mm self-drilling screws. Use an aluminum profile or a U-shaped wooden molding to hide the ceiling-bulkhead joint.
Available add-ons
MK2 cabin floor, MK2 cabin side linings, and complete MK2 cabin pack are available individually or in a pack for a complete cabin area fit-out.
Technical questions
Is this ceiling compatible with the MK1? No — different templates. Check the year of your Transit Custom before ordering (MK2 = from model year 2024).
Can I use this ceiling for the cargo area of the MK2? No — this ceiling is cut for the cabin area only. The MK2 L2H1 van ceiling is available separately.
