Custom ceiling for Volkswagen Transporter T5/T6 L2H1 crew cab version, in 5 mm poplar plywood. Specific cut-out for the cab configuration (partition, uprights, cable passages). 2 parts. Raw or oiled finish.
Our current lead times are 4 to 5 weeks for raw or oiled plywood furniture.
- Raw plywood: must be protected (sanded, varnished, painted, oiled, or other)
- Oiled plywood: can be cleaned with the soft side of a sponge. Oil can be reapplied to splinters. Does not require regular maintenance.
- Laminated plywood: same as usual kitchen furniture (sponge)

Transporter L2H1 Cab Ceiling
In the crew cab version, the Volkswagen Transporter L2H1 has a cab area separated from the cargo area by a bulkhead. This ceiling is cut for this specific area: the cut takes into account the partition, the side pillars of the cab, and the cable passages inherent to this configuration.
Material and format
5 mm poplar plywood, delivered in 2 parts. Its lightness is particularly appreciated in the cab where the space above the front seats is more restricted than in the cargo area.
Installation and integration with the bulkhead
First, insulate the cab area roof. Screw the panels into the transverse ribs with 3.5×25 mm self-drilling screws. The partition requires a finishing profile at the junction: an aluminum U-strip or a wooden molding is sufficient to neatly conceal the joint.

The cab floor, cab side linings, and the complete VW T5/T6 L2H1 crew cab pack are available separately for a complete cab area fitting.
Technical questions
Is this ceiling compatible with T5 and T6? Yes — the dimensions of the cab area are identical between the two generations in the L2H1 crew cab version.
Is the bulkhead included in this product? No. This product only covers the ceiling of the cab area. The bulkhead is a separate item.
