Ford Transit Custom L2H1 MK2 Floor – 9mm Birch Plywood
Custom floor for Ford Transit Custom L2H1 MK2, made of 9 mm birch plywood. 2 parts with interlocking rebate. Sill liners included. Option: 20 mm extruded polystyrene insulation (total thickness 30 mm).
Our current lead times are 4 to 5 weeks for raw or oiled plywood furniture.
- Raw plywood: must be protected (sanded, varnished, painted, oiled, or other)
- Oiled plywood: can be cleaned with the soft side of a sponge. Oil can be reapplied to splinters. Does not require regular maintenance.
- Laminated plywood: same as usual kitchen furniture (sponge)

Transit Custom MK2 L2H1: The Long Version with the New Template
The Ford Transit Custom MK2 L2H1 version is the large format of the new generation. This floor is cut to the MK2 L2H1 template — incompatible with the MK1 L2H1, whose underbody dimensions differ. 9 mm birch remains the material of choice for this application.
Rebate and Assembly
The two panels interlock with a rebate: a continuous surface with no visible joint, flatness along the entire length of the vehicle. Threshold linings finish the edges at the side and rear door sills of the MK2.
Extruded Polystyrene Option
20 mm XPS is placed between the underbody and the birch for effective thermal insulation, with no impact on the overall rigidity. Total thickness with option: 30 mm.
Technical Questions
Is this floor compatible with the MK1 L2H1? No — the MK1 and MK2 templates are different, even in L2H1. Please check your vehicle's year before ordering.
Is birch suitable for intensive professional use? Yes — 9 mm birch can withstand repeated loads and is easy to maintain. It can be replaced at low cost at the end of its life.
